Hey! I’m Kylie. Some of you may know me from my bookstagram platform (also titled The Book Wanderings). I started my bookstagram as way to avoid constantly bombarding my family about the books that I read and love. I love every moment of being part of the bookstagram community!
Since finishing my degree in English and Writing last Spring though, I’ve missed the ability to think deep and scholarly about literature. Hence this blog.
While I love the silliness and lightheartedness I’m able to lean into with my bookstagram, there’s also a part of me that longs to foster intellectual conversations about literature, art, and modern culture within Christian circles. That is what I hope this extension of my bookstagram offers me. You’ll expect to find the same lightheartedness you see on Instagram, but you’ll also see me geeking out about Tolkien and lamenting the usage of AI in art.
